AI Diligence Statement
Scholars & Parents is committed to transparency about how artificial intelligence was used in creating the content and platform you see here.
In the development of ScholarsAndParents.com - including its concept explainers, printable worksheets, practice test question pools, and Gifted & Enrichment content - we engaged in extensive collaboration with Claude (Sonnet and Opus models) from Anthropic.
Source Material
The base content for this platform came from:
- Established K-8 curriculum standards and subject-matter frameworks across Math, Reading & Writing, Social Studies & History, Science, and Gifted & Enrichment
- The platform creator's domain knowledge, pedagogical judgment, and firsthand understanding of what K-8 students and their parents need
- Publicly available educational resources, style guides, and grade-band learning progressions used to ground and validate content scope and difficulty
How AI Was Used
Throughout this process, Claude assisted with structural development of question pools and explainers, worksheet design, content drafting, answer key generation, critiquing, editing, and rewriting. We directed all content decisions, defined the scope and difficulty of each topic, reviewed content, and made all final decisions about what was included, how it was framed, and how it was presented to learners.
Human Oversight and Responsibility
All AI-generated and co-created content underwent validation, editing, and curation by us. The final materials accurately reflect our understanding of grade-appropriate curriculum, pedagogical approach, and the needs of the K-8 student audience. AI assistance was instrumental in producing these materials at scale. There could be some inaccuracies in content and that is not intentional. If feedback is provided about inaccuracies, we will update the content as needed.
Our Commitment to Transparency
This disclosure is made in the spirit of transparency and to acknowledge the evolving role of AI in educational content development. Scholars & Parents is committed to providing accurate, age-appropriate, and educationally sound resources - and to being honest with students, parents, and educators about how those resources were made.
